Swim yesterday was lovely, crystal clear cold water. Though Villa has a little more slime on her freeboard than we’d like. Andrew threw Jazz a scraper, and kept telling her it was right in front of her as it sank below her feet. The wind started to pick up right as we got out of the water, and we’ve been sailing with the spinnaker since. Crossing our fingers that the Euro model is right and GFS is wrong, in which case we’re at the start of the sleigh ride.
The wave angle is comfortable and the crew is happy and relaxed. Big shout out to the spinnaker, without which this would be a very different trip.
2284 miles to go on the rhumb line.
